Dez Bryant caught three passes for touchdowns and scored another on a punt return, and No. 21 Oklahoma State took advantage of five first-half turnovers in beating Texas A&M 56-28 Saturday night. The Cowboys set a school record by surpassing 50 points for the fourth straight game, with some big help from their defense and special teams. Ugo Chinasa and Patrick Lavine each scored on interception returns as Oklahoma State (5-0, 1-0 Big 12) snapped a four-game losing streak to the Aggies.

Robert Marve threw two touchdown passes and Graig Cooper ran for career-high 128 yards and two scores as Miami downed Texas A&M 41-23 on Saturday.
Marve, a redshirt freshman making his second career start, completed 16 of 22 passes for 212 yards. The Hurricanes (2-1) piled up 398 yards on 57 plays -- an average of 6.98 yards per offensive snap -- and handed A&M its worst nonconference defeat at Kyle Field since a 30-10 loss to Alabama in 1988.

It is the first Big 12 Tournament title for the Aggies in program history, their third conference trophy in the past four years.

A&M lost only its second Big 12 series of the year—and first since March—while falling to 42-10 and 19-5 in conference play. The Huskers improved to 38-9-1 and 17-6-1. NU took the first game of the twinbill, 9-8, with a five-run ninth inning rally.

Kyle Colligan’s walk-off home run to open the 10th inning lifted No. 6 Texas A&M to a 3-2 win over and a series sweep of fourth-ranked Missouri Sunday afternoon before 3,744 fans at Olsen Field.
Colligan smashed a first-pitch fastball from Tiger pitcher Rick Zagone over the fence in left center, just underneath the scoreboard, for the junior’s first walk-off home run of his career.
The Aggies (37-7, 18-3 Big 12) won their 15th straight league game and have now swept the last five Big 12 series. Mizzou, meanwhile, fell to 29-14 and 9-9.

Texas A&M tied a school record with their 12th consecutive league victory, remaining in first place at 15-3 and improving to 33-7 overall. The Bears, who were swept by the Aggies for the first time in Big 12 play, fell to 23-17 and 8-10.

The Aggies, whose previous best NCAA Tournament run was a Sweet 16 appearance in 1994, finishes the season at 29-8 overall marking a school record for wins after having won 16 of their final 18 final games of the year.

Carter scored 26 points, matching his career high, as the Aggies defeated Brigham Young 67-62 in the West Regions first round on Thursday, handing the Cougars their sixth straight opening-round loss.
Joseph Jones added 10 points and 12 rebounds for the ninth-seeded Aggies, who will face No. 1 seed UCLA on Saturday.

On the heels of their highest-ever national ranking and first-ever Big 12 Conference Tournament title, the eighth-ranked Texas A&M women’s basketball team earned a program-best No. 2 seed in the 2008 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship as announced on Selection Monday. A&M will face 15th-seeded Texas-San Antonio (23-9) in first-round action of the Oklahoma City Regional to be held on Saturday, March 22 at 11:00am in Baton Rouge. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.

The Aggies (26-7) earned their second all-time conference tournament championship crown next to the final 1996 Southwest Conference Tournament-winning A&M squad. The Aggies became the first No. 4 seed in league history to clinch the tournament title. Junior Takia Starks (Houston, Texas) was named Most Outstanding Player as she averaged a team-leading 14.3 points and 6.0 rebounds over the course of three tournament games. She scored 10 points and had a team-high seven rebounds versus the Cowgirls. A&M outrebounded OSU, 40-30.

After being the underdog for the first nine years of existence of the Big 12 Conference, the fourth-seeded and No. 11-ranked Texas A&M women’s basketball team continues to reach new heights with its first-ever appearance in the Big 12 championship game with a 65-53 semifinal victory over eighth-seeded Iowa State Thursday night at Municipal Auditorium.
The Aggies (25-7) have gone 2-0 at the postseason conference tournament with a 65-39 win over 12th-seeded Missouri in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. They have won 12 of their last 13 games of the season and are riding a conference-best eight-game winning streak. A&M became the first No. 4 seed in league history to advance to the championship game and claimed only its fifth all-time win in the tourney.

Donald Sloan and Dominique Kirk had 12 points each, and Texas A&M held Iowa State to 27 percent shooting to open the Big 12 tournament with a 60-47 victory Thursday night.
It was an ugly, physical game, with lots of pushing and shoving under the basket and plenty of missed shots. Texas A&M (23-9), the sixth seed, smothered Iowa State defensively and did just enough on offense to hang on for its second win in 13 Big 12 tournament games.

Texas A&M University, the University of Arkansas and the Dallas Cowboys organization have announced the formation of a football neutral site series to be played in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The 10-year agreement calls for the series to begin in Oct. 3, 2009 with Arkansas serving as the home team in odd years and Texas A&M as the home team in even years. The stadium is expected to seat approximately 80,000 for this game with the distribution split evenly between the two institutions. With the configuration of the end zones the capacity could increase to 100,000.

DeAndre Jordan grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked six shots for the Aggies (22-8, 8-7 Big 12), who won for the second time in six games after losing their last two road games by 27 points.
